12th International specialized exhibition
The most “spring” trade fair of the capital, the 12th International specialized exhibition Landscape Architecture. Floristic, blossomed March 26 through 29 in the second pavilion of the Crocus Expo IEC.
The Gala Opening of the 12th International specialized exhibition Landscape Architecture. Floristic took place March 26, 2013 in Crocus Expo IEC. Arcady Zlotnikov, Deputy Director General ZAO CROCUS INTERNATIONAL, was traditionally the first to take the floor at the official opening ceremony. He greeted warmly exhibitors, guests and visitors and presented high ranking guests of the ceremony.
This year the honourable guests of the project were: Ilya Mochalov, General Secretary of the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA), Vice-president of the Association of Landscape designers (ALAROS), Taisija Volftrub, President of the Association of Landscape Architects of Russia, Galina Pergamenschikova, President of the National Guild of Florists and Valery Sudarenkov, member of the Council of Federation. They addressed the audience with warm greetings and welcome speeches, noted organizers’ hospitality and traditionally cut the red ribbon.
The spring version of the trade fair Landscape Architecture. Floristic 2013 incorporated more than 150 companies from Russia, the CIS countries and abroad. Exhibitors from Russia, Germany, Holland, Italy, India, England, Latvia and Ukraine presented their latest developments in the sphere of landscape architecture, floristic and a phytodesign. The overall exhibit space comprised 4000 sq m. This bright event which organizer is Crocus Expo IEC was traditionally held under support of the Russian Association of Landscape Architects (ALAROS), the Association of Planting Material Producers (APPM), the National Guild of Florists, Green Expo exhibition operator, Lowers Flowers business partner and peredelka.tv special partner.
As its popularity and success rate has grown over the last years the trade fair has developed to incorporate more than just an exhibition. These special events served to attract leading exhibitors and visitors and allowed all participants the chance to broaden their knowledge and of course their sales potential.
Open competition on professional floristics of the Central region Moscow Spring 2013, initiated and organized by the National Guild of Florists became a special decoration of the exhibition. The common topic for all competitions was Warmth and Cold, Light and Shade. 7 contestants competed for the award. The best florists were Artem Salmin (Korolevskiye Oranzherei, Moscow), Irina Politova (Balashikha) and Snezhana Sotskova (Tsvety na Sretenke, Moscow). The visitors had an opportunity to photograph fine flower compositions for all 4 days of the exhibition, and, moreover, to learn to create independently real works of art, having taken part in the special master class.
Full spectrum of goods and services of landscape branch were presented at the show: landscape design and gardening devices and machinery, paving materials and pools arrangement devices, lawn furniture and watering systems, soil, fertilizers, plant care products, garden illumination, new technologies and materials for lawns and many other things.
A lecture and three-day master class on design by famous landscape designer Rosemary Alexander, the creator of a number of gardens, the author of popular books on landscaping and gardening, a talented teacher of one of leading schools of landscaping in England became the highlight of the calendar of events. The event was organized by Zelenaya Strela centre of landscape art (Saint Petersburg) and supported by Landshaftnoe Iskusstvo company (Moscow).
