10th Anniversary international specialized exhibition
Landscape Architecture. Floristic

The 10th Anniversary international specialized exhibition Landscape Architecture. Floristic was held April 6 through 9, 2011 in Crocus Expo IEC.

The event was traditionally organized by Crocus Expo IEC and officially supported by the National Guild of Florists, Rus Tsvetuschaya fund, the Moscow Association of Landscape Architects (MOLA), the Russian Association of Landscape Architects, the Moscow Chamber of Handicrafts, the Union of Designers International Association and Eco-education training centre.

The exhibition Landscape Architecture. Floristic by right is considered to be one of the most entertaining events held at Crocus Expo IEC and annually attracts not only experts in the field of floristic, design and interior but also summer residents and fans of countryside life.

250 companies from Russia, the CIS and foreign countries exhibited their products and services at the trade fair. The most advanced technologies and the best achievements were showcased at the exhibition.

The anniversary Landscape Architecture. Floristic exhibition presented a bright exposition (more than 8 000 sq m!) giving rise to wonderful spring spirits at the visitors.

The Official Opening Ceremony was traditionally presented by Arkady Zlotnikov, First Deputy Director Crocus Expo IEC. Participants of the ceremony:

Traditionally the largest national and foreign nurseries presented a wide assortment of ornamental plants adapted for the Russian climate. Full spectrum of goods and services of landscape branch were presented at the show: landscape design and gardening devices and machinery, paving materials and pools arrangement devices, lawn furniture and watering systems, rockeries, soil, fertilizers, plant care products, garden illumination, new technologies and materials for lawns and many other things.

As its popularity and success rate has grown over the last years the Landscape Architecture. Floristic trade fair has developed to incorporate more than just an exhibition. These special events serve to attract leading exhibitors and visitors and allow all participants the chance to broaden their knowledge and of course their sales potential.

Rus Tsvetuschaya contest aimed to acquaint visitors with Russian companies of landscape branch which bring the essential contribution to nature and ecology preservation, to a city and country territories improvement and offer high, acknowledged by experts quality level of goods and services. 14 companies had been selected for the final contest. Experienced service providers and young beginners participated in the event. But all of them showed high professional level.

Rus Tsvetuschaya contest-exhibition of students’ works was of big interest at the visitors. The contest was organized by Rus Tsvetuschaya fund and Crocus Expo IEC. Students from 17 profile educational entities from Moscow, Kursk, Yoshkar-Ola, Ekaterinburg and Minsk were among contestants. The contest was held in two nominations: landscape design and phytodesign. The event provided an opportunity for students to exhibit their works, to estimate works of colleagues and to receive an objective estimation of their potential from a competent panel of judges.

For the first time Design D’Art contest was held in three nominations: Exhibition Stand Design, Decoration Creativity and Design Element.

The National Guild of Florists organized and held the 9th Open Contest on professional floristic for the Central region Moscow Spring 2011 on the subject Flowers for Business. The contest selected participants for the Russian championship on professional floristic 2011.   

The 2nd International conference Private Garden – Fashion, Problems and Technologies was successfully held April 8, 2011 within the frames of the 10th Anniversary exhibition Landscape Architecture. Floristic. The organizer of the event was Eco Education centre and it was supported by Rus Tsvetuschaya Fund and Crocus Expo IEC. Not only professional topics but also issues related to development, financing, crediting of landscape business and city support of the branch enterprises were discussed at the conference. The first part was held under patronage of the Department for Small and Average Business Support and Development of the Government of Moscow, Alexander Karpov, First Deputy Head of the Department spoke at the conference. During the day the event was attended by 296 persons from 18 cities of Russia and foreign countries.

Landscape Architecture. Floristic trade fair was organized at the most convenient timeframe – on a new summer season eve and at his and it became extremely popular at all fans of the fine: from summer residents to landscape architects and phytodesigners, plant nursery holders, architects, everybody for whom beauty creation is a trade.
